Cintiq 24hd supports the fine art of creating flawless images

The huge Wacom Cintiq pen tablets have long been a holy grail for artists and designers alike. The quality tablets from Wacom offer fluency and efficiency to illustration that will usually repay the high-quality outlay for the professionals. A ubiquitous name in the animation industry – Cintiq is the fastest way to get plenty of drawing done in short span of time. The Cintiq 24hd presents a wonderful fusion of expert design and quality engineering that will work together to make this tablet display highly-demandable in wide range of markets including animation, photography and video production.

The Wacom upgrades the Cintiq with a host of new features to enhance the workflow while giving utmost comfort to the user. A lot of the Cintiq 24HD weight is due to its 15.3kg stand which has been rightly balanced so that the user can put the base at the edge of his/her desk and tilt the tablet/display over the edge at a certain angle. With the most comfortable working position available, the Cintiq 24HD has been designed in such a way that it allows the user to lean over it while working. Unlike the older 18-inch and 21-inch Cintiq, the 24HD doesn’t have a pivot to rotate the screen. Instead, it’s robustly hinged on the either side, and can be elevated to an upright position well-adjusted to a drawing board angle, or dropped down over the desk's edge and into the user’s lap. It also features two flip-out feet so that the keyboard can be placed just underneath it.

Moreover, it has been designed to cater to the creative needs of designers, illustrators, animators, video editors and other professionals who are looking for most advanced pen-on-screen experience. It features a screen that will run 1920x1200 with H-IPS display to give the tablet 92 percent of the Adobe RGB color space coupled with the wide viewing angles associated with IPS displays.

The Cintiq 24hd is extremely comfortable to work on, however, using the 24HD simultaneously with the keyboard is quite challenging. Fortunately, the Cintiq 24HD features application-specific 16 programmable ExpressKeys and Touch Rings located on each side of the display's frame. These user-friendly features are instrumental in improving the workflow and boost productivity by placing frequently used shortcut commands at the fingertips.

The Cintiq 24HD incorporates Wacom's most realistic pen experience to the best featuring 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and 40 degrees of tilt control giving this display tablet a welcome industrial design.
